Eventually yes. But only because sperm will only live so long outside the body. Direct (concentrated) chlorine will kill sperm, but it would be the heat that would do it in before the chlorine in the hot tub would. If lets say that the hot tub was not on and was lukewarm at best when the sperm was released into it, it would last a little longer than it would if the tub had been running for 20 minutes. If you are wondering if someone could get pregnant if a man releases it in a hot tub, it depends on if he actually released it while having intercourse with her. If penetration is not a factor then it is highly unlikely. However if he has penetrated her, it is possible and the hot tub will not kill whatever entered her body. At this point it would be dependant upon the same factors that it would depend on if they were in a bed instead (decreased by a slight margin at best). Such as motility, count, her ovulation cycle etc. The reason that it could be decreased by a slight margin as I listed is because the hot tub has been shown to lower sperm count as the mans scrotum is typically 4 degrees cooler than the rest of his body.
